Last week, eight members of the Neural Instrumentation Lab travelled to Boston for the 2011 Engineering in Medicine and Biology Society's annual meeting. We had a great time - there were talks from top researchers in all the biomedical engineering fields. My students had a great chance to talk to and interact with faculty and students from around the world.
One highlight was hearing Dean Kamen, the legendary inventor and engineer, give a keynote address. My undergraduates even stuck around to meet him!
